Are We Drowning in Ads? The Hidden Cost of Too Many Commercials

Everywhere we turn there is another commercial waiting for us. On YouTube you watch a few minutes of a video and suddenly an ad appears. Then you skip ahead and another one comes. It feels nonstop and distracting.


Reels used to feel quick and fun but now you scroll and before you know it another advertisement pops up. You push up or down and there is another one again. The person who made the reel may not even have chosen to place it there yet it interrupts the flow anyway.


Games used to be simple and relaxing but now many of them ask you to watch ads just to continue playing or unlock something small. Instead of enjoying the game you are stuck waiting for marketing to finish before you can move forward.


When commercials appear every few minutes it starts to feel overwhelming. Instead of relaxing or enjoying content we are constantly interrupted. It feels like everything is being pushed into our faces all the time. Maybe it is time to question how much is too much because when ads take over the space meant for fun the simple joy of watching and playing begins to fade.
