Scrunchies are gentler on your hair

Scrunchies are generally a gentler choice for your hair than thin elastic hair ties. Because they are covered with soft fabric, they are less likely to grip your hair tightly, helping reduce pulling, breakage, and tangles.


Even on a windy day, a scrunchie is still a better option. Wind can tangle hair no matter what type of hair accessory you use, so no hair tie can completely prevent tangles. However, a scrunchie is usually easier to remove and is less likely to get tightly caught in your hair than a thin elastic band.


Keeping your hair tied back can also help reduce tangles, especially when it's windy. If your hair is left loose in strong wind, it can become tangled more easily. A scrunchie helps keep your hair in place while being kinder to your hair, making it a great everyday choice whether it's windy or not.
